The yard is mowed every 2-3 weeks; let us know if it needs attention on arrival, and we’ll arrange it. Parking is available on the street, with a small driveway on the left. The house is centrally located in Durham, where many older homes are being renovated or replaced. Please note that this property may experience noise due to its surroundings. The street can be loud at night, walls are somewhat thin, and neighbors, including an elderly resident next door who watches TV at high volume, may contribute to the noise. If you are sensitive to sound, this may not be the best fit for you. Also, please be aware that the couches were recently replaced. Lastly, due to the natural surroundings, there’s a small chance of pest encounters despite regular preventative treatment. We recommend keeping doors and windows closed to minimize this. The house is located very close to downtown Durham. Downtown Durham is an area that is transitioning so you will find very old properties (1920s) next to brand new or flipped properties. This unit is from 1940s but has been recently renovated. The street could be very loud at night and the walls are somewhat thin. Some neighbors like to hangout on their decks and could be loud. Also people from the neighborhood is very diverse. Please take this into consideration before booking
